We help people grow by exploring and understanding themselves, expressing themselves, and being consistent. Our approach includes various techniques like ACT, compassion-based ABA, Early Start Denver Model, Pivotal Response Treatment, somatic therapy, reiki, mindfulness, and support groups. With this range of therapies, we empower clients to actively engage in their treatment.

What is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy?

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based, compassionate therapeutic measure that has proven to be highly effective in supporting and treating a wide range of emotional and psychological issues. Unlike traditional therapies, ACT is not focused on eliminating or suppressing uncomfortable thoughts and emotions. Instead, it is a value-based therapy that places a heavy emphasis on cultivating mindfulness and acceptance in order to help clients change the way they relate to their thoughts and other private experiences.
ACT operates under the belief that suffering is an inevitable part of the human experience and that our attempts to control or avoid painful experiences only serve to prolong our suffering in the long run. The ultimate goal of ACT is to increase psychological flexibility, allowing individuals to fully embrace and engage with the present moment, and to commit to making behavioral changes that align with their deeply held values.
By encouraging clients to embrace their thoughts and emotions without judgment, ACT enables them to develop a greater level of self-awareness and acceptance. This heightened sense of mindfulness allows individuals to detach from unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior, creating space for new, more adaptive ways of being.
Through the targeted application of mindfulness and acceptance, ACT empowers individuals to live their lives with greater vitality and commitment. By guiding clients towards aligning their actions with their core values, ACT helps them move towards a more fulfilled and meaningful existence.
